Wedding Dance Lessons in essex

Our private dance lessons are taught by professionally trained dancers and experienced teachers who are patient and passionate. This provides you with a relaxed environment for you to build the confidence you need to enjoy your dance journey and dance without fear on your wedding day.

Song Selection

You choose your special song, and we choreograph and organise the rest. If you have trouble choosing a song, we can help you and have a vast selection of suggestions to offer. We also provide song editing if you choose to make the song shorter or want to do a mash up.

When and Where?

Our lessons take place in the comfort of your own home, and we offer flexible lesson times to fit around your work and social commitments. Alternatively, if you prefer a studio space, we can arrange that for you at the cost of the studio hire. Sometimes booking one session in a studio nearer your wedding day works well if you haven't got the same amount of space at home as what you will at your wedding venue. We can provide lessons during the day, evenings, and weekends to suit your schedule.​

How many wedding dance lessons?

This will depend somewhat on the level of difficulty of the dance you would like, tempo and length of song. We recommend five to six hours to complete your routine comfortably, but you can have more or fewer lessons depending on your preferences, time availability, and budget. We offer one-hour, 90-minute, and two-hour sessions. If you only need a few simple steps or to just learn how to sway together as a team, we recommend one or two hours.​

No Experience Necessary!

Don't fear if you've never danced before! Most couples haven't, and we teach you the steps slowly, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident giving you lots of easy tips and tricks along the way. We tailor the lessons to your requests and preferences and choreograph all dances with the bride's dress in mind. We guarantee you will surprise yourself with what you have achieved by the end of your course of lessons.

When To Start our wedding dance Lessons?

Ideally, if you're doing a full dance routine we advise starting your lessons around eight to ten weeks before your wedding to learn over a period of time while you're still relaxed. This way, you'll finish your routine with a few weeks to spare, allowing for extra practice if needed. However, we understand that wedding planning can take over your life, so if you're running out of time, we'll make sure your routine is complete and you can do the dance in your sleep before your wedding day arrives.

What To Wear

Every day clothes you feel comfortable and confident moving in. As we get closer to the day we recommend practicing in the shoes or similar shoes to what you will wear on your wedding day. Brides it's great for you to practice in a long dress or skirt and if you have particularly big wedding dress then wearing something similar that can replicate that so there's no unexpected surprises on the day!
